New Year, New Show

So we ended 2017 by finishing My Hero Academia Series 1 and Konosuba.

By popular demand, Slot one has continued onto My Hero Academia Series 2

Slot 2 has had a similar treatment, Great Teacher Onizuka has been extended for its full 43 Episode run.

Slot 3 is our new show: Voted in and shown on the same night, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei will run for 12 episodes with Japanese Audio and English Subtitles.

Nozomu Itoshiki is a high school teacher so pessimistic that even the smallest of misfortunes can send him into a pit of raging despair; some of these “catastrophes” even lead to suicide attempts. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is a satirical slice-of-life comedy set in the modern day, covering various aspects of Japanese life and culture through Nozomu and his interactions with his students: Kiri Komori, a recluse who refuses to leave the school; Abiru Kobushi, an enigma who frequently arrives to class with severe and mysterious injuries; the hyper-optimistic Kafuuka Fuura, Nozomu’s polar opposite; and several other unusual girls, all of whom are just as eccentric as their teacher.

Show update

While the trackers are doing their job, they still have to be manually switched over to new shows by me, something I always forget to do. But here’s a rundown of our current line up, which should remain the same until after Xmas

Slot 1 is showing My Hero Academia – English Audio, 13 Episodes.

Midoriya Izuku was just a regular middle school student in a world where people with superpowers known as Quirks are the norm. However, he dreams of one day becoming a Hero, despite being bullied by his classmates for not having a Quirk. After being the only one to try and save his childhood friend, Katsuki, from a Villain, All Might, the world’s greatest Hero, bestows upon him his own quirk, One For All. The story follows Izuku’s entrance into Yuuei High School, a school that cultivates the next generation of Heroes.

Slot 2, the Committee’s Choice, is showing Great Teacher Onizuka – Japanese with English subtitles, 29 Episodes.
(Great Teacher Onizuka does have 43 episodes, but we only intend to show 29 unless there is demand for more)

Tough on the outside, all heart on the inside, Onizuka turned to the life of a high school teacher for less excitement and action… or so he thought. GTO, A.K.A.: Great Teacher Onizuka, is the racy story of Onizuka, a former motorcycle gang member who becomes a teacher to make a difference and… to meet girls? Using his street smarts to deal with colleagues, students and troublemakers, Onizuka finds that he too has many lessons to learn!

Slot 3 is showing Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! – Japanese with English subtitles, 10 Episodes.

Satou Kazuma, a shut-in and die-hard fan of games, anime, and manga, suffers a traffic accident that would bring his disappointingly brief life to an end. However, he wakes up and sees a beautiful girl who introduces herself as a goddess and says: “Hey, I have some good news: would you like to go to an alternate world? You may only bring one thing you like with you.”

He responds: “So, I’ll bring you.” With that, he and the goddess are transported to another world, and his great adventure quest for subjugating the demon king begins, but first goes the hard work like finding food, clothing, and shelter. Kazuma wants to live in peace, but the goddess raises one problem after another, and the demon king’s army has its eyes set on him.
